Introductory Chemistry I/Lab

This course is designed to provide students with the required skills and knowledge to successfully pursue General Chemistry I at the Associate degree level. It will introduce students to the fundamental aspects of chemistry as a physical science. Beginning with principles of the structure of matter, students will be led through an exploration of the science of the elements, the basics of the periodic table, relationships in the periodic table, basic chemical bonding, and combinations of elements to form molecules.
