II. ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Description
The Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration is designed to give students specialised training to prepare them for positions in general business management. Students completing the AAS degree may qualify for some advanced standing if they later attend the University College or other tertiary institutions. The main emphasis of the degree is on developing specific vocational skills such as planning, organizing, motivating, decision-making, and controlling within an organisation.

Students will be able to demonstrate vocational skills in the principal functional areas of business administration.
Students will be able to produce and present effective oral and written forms of business communication.
Students will be able to use current technology and computer applications in business practices.
Students will be able to describe and illustrate the significance of the principal functional areas of business administration.
