Introduction to Teaching and Learning

This course explores multiple theories and models of teaching and learning including direct instruction, integrative, discovery and problem-based models. It is designed to give the novice teacher a deeper understanding of how to motivate students and facilitate the learning process and to master fundamental strategies in order to facilitate learning and promote student achievement. Students will connect theory and learning techniques designed to create a culture for learning.
