Models and Theories of Education

This course examines the models and theories which have shaped education. Students will learn the characteristics of the effective learning environment including classroom management strategies and tech- niques necessary for teaching and learning. Attention is given to practical aspects of teaching such as discipline, communication and interpersonal relationship skills, class- room ethos, time management, team planning, and methods of instructions are discussed.
