Methods of Inclusion and Collaboration

This course provides a comprehensive overview of special education and inclusion. Students will explore the characteristics of students with special needs and analyse the pros and cons of including students with special needs in the classroom. Students will examine the role of the general class teacher and the strategies to help special education students be successful in the classroom. 10 practicum hours are required.
