Principles, Methods and Practicum for Teaching Early and Emergent Literacy I

This course introduces theories of literacy learning and language development. Students will examine models for teaching literacy and practise specific strategies and techniques to assist literacy and student growth in the areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening in the classroom.
