Abnormal Psychology

Biological, psychosocial, and sociocultural perspec- tives will be used to increase knowledge concerning the symptom presentation, course, possible origin, and treatment of various mental disorders. Students will gain informa- tion about: what is abnormal, the presentation of the major classifications of disorders, the cause and maintenance of disorders, and treatment/prevention.
