This course places emphasis on the cost accounting methods, concepts, and procedures that provide management with information for planning, control and decision-making in businesses. Topics include costing behaviour, costing techniques, inventory valuation, cost-volume-profit analysis, capital investment appraisal analysis, budgeting, standard costing and variance analysis, and performance evaluation.
